Pregnant Bagpiper

This is the most adorable picture of my pregnant bagpiping wife. I took this as she was getting ready for a show that she and her pipeband played on the Sunday before Memorial Day. Honestly, she looked so cute with her belly and a kilt that is really way too big for her.

Today she is in Manti playing at a funeral. I'm quite proud of her for being so dedicated to what she loves.

blogging

After fourteen attempts of Matt showing me how to blog I think I might have it. It's a miracle!
I really love reading other people blogs but for some reason I have been very reluctant to blog myself.
Maybe its because I hear my high school english teachers voice in my head saying something about knowing who your audience is when you write, and catering to them and with this blogging thing I don't really know who my audience is.....
or maybe it's because I like reading a lot more than writing or maybe I can't imagine anyone wanting to read about our lives.
Whatever the reason I am tossing them all to the wind and am going to keep more up to date with this blog.
I can hear the cheering now......that imaginary audience is thrilled!!

Just a few minutes away from our house is a marina/pier type thing.
We like it.

Florida continued.....

We loved our trip to FLorida so much, it's really hard not to include all the pictures we took. But alas I will spare you ALL the boring details and include just a few more before moving on to more current events in our lives--

These pics are from a couple of the airboat rides we took. Matt loved the first one so much we went in search of another :) We got to see plenty of birds and alligators oh and a cow..... We were a little too close to the alligators if you ask me

Sea World!

Camille cried all the way through the Shamu show. It was adorable. The show was quite good and I couldn't stop thinking about how amazing it is that two of God's creatures that are so drastically different could learn to work together in such an amazing and skillful way.

Then we saw sharks and penguins. But don't worry, we have a 7 day pass so we can post about this again!...and again!...and again!...

Oh, and you can see our baby in the first picture. :) :) :) :) :)

Welcome to Florida!

So...we got too hungry to make a wise decision about what to eat...which seems to happen to us just about every single day. Thus, Captain Nemo. He sounded like a nice enough guy, and who doesn't love Nemo?! Or CAPTAINS!!! And look how happy Camille looked.

Actually, the main reason for this post is so you all could see my impression of a crab-eating-bunny (or a seal).

Welcome home......almost.........

This is our sweet new house. We bought it...but we won't actually live there for 2 more weeks. Honestly, I can't even believe we are at this point in our lives. We are buying a house. How would have thought!!??

Yeah, this house is already sold.
It comes with a sweet kitchen. And check out that fridge!! I have always wanted a stainless fridge that has water and ice that magically comes out of the door. It's a modern miracle.
